First: If you do ONE thing today, RSVP here to sign the petition and pick up your clipboard at a Launch Party on Weds, Sept 10.
Tomorrow is Labor Day and voters across Missouri watched the overturning of legislation that was meant to protect the very people this holiday was meant to honor: the workers. Not-so-happy Labor day, Missouri.
Meanwhile, our politicians are at it again. Governor Kehoe has called a special legislative session to attempt a blatant power grab—pushing for even more gerrymandering of our congressional map and to gut the initiative petition process so badly that as few as 23% of voters could block the will of the majority.
It’s clear: they see us organizing, they see us gaining momentum, and they don't like it. Instead of serving the people, they’re working overtime to consolidate their own power. This is not about taking sides but preserving the voice of the voters.
Launch day is in just 10 days, and we are READY to start gathering signatures to put our amendment on the ballot!
