As we head into the New Year, our goal is clear: grow from 1,200 to 2,000 active signature gatherers with ink on paper. The fastest way to get there is through Micro-Collectors—friends, family members, and supporters who are willing to collect just 10–20 signatures from their immediate circle: a book club, a gym, a neighborhood, a holiday gathering.

One year ago, the Respect Missouri Voters movement began. What started as a shared commitment to protecting the voice of the people has grown into a powerful, statewide force focused on strengthening the citizen initiative process to ensure a government of, by, and for the people. As we mark this one-year milestone, we are taking a moment to reflect on everything we have navigated together.

Earlier this week, People Not Politicians submitted more than 305,000 signatures to force a statewide vote on Missouri's new congressional map. Whether or not you agree with their petition, we can all take away one thing:  If they can do it, we can too!

Our opponents are getting louder — and they’re doing everything they can to create confusion for Missourians. Recently, they even attempted to record misleading “gotcha” videos of volunteers gathering signatures for other petitions.

We’re at 100,000 signatures and counting! This incredible milestone belongs to every single volunteer who has shown up, stood out in the weather, made the ask, and refused to slow down.

Our focus remains on the pivotal Congressional Districts 3, 4, and 7, and we are immensely grateful to the volunteers who have stepped up, traveled, and helped amplify our presence where it’s needed most.

Every page counts, and your effort moves us one step closer to victory. Remember:  we have to qualify in a minimum of SIX districts so we must focus on gathering signatures in congressional districts 3, 4, and 7 to qualify for the ballot!

We know the pace can feel intense, but remember—you’re not in this alone. All across Missouri, volunteers just like you are showing up, rain or shine, to protect the people’s voice. Our new Buddy Programis here to help you stay connected, supported, and motivated as we push forward. 

The energy on the ground is incredible!  Thanks to all your hard work, we’ve already gathered 75,000 signatures — that’s 25% of our statewide goal!  With a gorgeous week of upper 60s and 70s all across the state, now is the time to double down on collecting and this Tuesday is our biggest opportunity yet! 

Despite the wind and rain, hundreds of you turned out in force–proving that Missourians are ready to stand up and make their voices heard! But we can’t slow down now. Every signature matters, and every trained gatherer is vital to our success.

We've gathered over 53,000 signatures, but we need to get to 300,000. That means we all need to DOUBLE the number of folks gathering signatures to qualify for the ballot.

What an incredible weekend! From the 37+ No Kings Rallies to craft fairs, fall festivals, and community events all across the state, our volunteers once again showed the heart and determination that make this movement unstoppable.  Despite the wind and rain, hundreds of you turned out in force–proving that Missourians are ready to stand up and make their voices heard! But we can’t slow down now. Every signature matters, and every trained gatherer is vital to our success.

We must be doing something right! With petitions already turned in from 105 counties from all corners of the state, we're hard to deny.  A huge thank-you to all who turned out to gather signatures so far. But we need our biggest volunteer turnout ever next weekend during the 37+ No Kings rallies and other events to try to get 30,000 signatures in one weekend. 

You all are doing FANTASTIC but it's only the beginning!  We've already gathered tens of thousands of signatures, so let's use that momentum to double down.  While the weather is on our side, we need every volunteer out gathering signatures—especially in Missouri’s 3rd and 4th congressional districts. Set your goal for 26 signatures this weekend (or 200 - the sky's the limit!) and bring a friend to join the fun! Together, we’re proving that when regular Missourians step up, we can outwork the political establishment and show what real people power looks like!

Signature gathering is in full swing now all over the state. And we have had dozens of notary nights already around the state sending thousands of signatures to our Verification Center.

Our September 10 launch is almost here, and signature-gathering trainings are ramping up across the state. Missouri politicians have made the initiative petition process harder, which means we must be meticulous to ensure every signature counts.
