After months of gathering in the rain, in the cold, outside grocery stores, at community events, and in our neighborhoods—we finally made it to the capital. Yesterday, on May 3, an incredible 367,741 signatures were delivered to the Secretary of State's Office in Jefferson City. These signatures represent voters from all 115 counties in our state who want their voices to be heard, and their votes to be honored.
Together, we made history. We are thrilled to announce that we set the record for the most signatures ever gathered by volunteers for an initiative in Missouri history. Almost 2,000 of you gathered more than 250,000 signatures, smashing the previous record of 170,000 for a citizen initiative!
But, this isn’t over. The true finish line is when we vote "Yes" at the ballot box in 2026. Our campaign is shifting gears, and we’ll still need the support of our volunteers to take on different roles and tasks. But for now, let’s celebrate how far we’ve come!
