City.

Good vibes for
everyone!
What an incredible week
it’s been. Our volunteers have truly shown what dedication looks
like—celebrating the “birthday” of the citizens’ initiative in Kansas City and
St. Louis, hosting food drives and drive-through signing events all over the
state, and braving the cold outside DMVs, libraries, and grocery stores. You’ve
stayed active and committed even as we head into one of the busiest seasons of
the year.
We know many of you are
juggling work, family, holiday planning, and everyday life on top of signature
gathering. It’s a lot—and the fact that you continue to show up with energy,
heart, and determination speaks volumes. If you’re feeling stretched or tired,
please know that it’s normal, it’s okay, and it doesn’t diminish your impact.
Every signature, every hour, every conversation matters.
With Thanksgiving just around
the corner, we want to say how deeply grateful we are for each of you. Because
of your hard work, we’ve officially crossed 108,000
signatures—and we’re just getting started.
And now, a bit of good news
perfectly timed for this season of gratitude:
We’re excited to launch a
special recognition program to honor volunteers who have
reached major signature-gathering milestones! Your dedication is powering this
movement, and we can’t wait to celebrate your achievements.
We've designed
exclusive pins and ribbons for volunteers who have
gathered:
- 100 Signatures
- 250 Signatures
- 500 Signatures
- 1,000 Signatures
If you’ve crossed any of
these milestones, your Regional Field Directors and/or Field Captains will be
reaching out soon to distribute these items personally. Please note: Our
official counts may be a week or so behind your personal tracking due to
processing time. We are working hard to ensure everyone is recognized accurately
and promptly! If you have any questions about your count or the recognition
program, please reach out to goodvibes@respectvoters.org.
Thank you for everything you
do! Let's keep up the amazing work!

Gathering signatures in
Congressional Districts 3, 4,
6, and
7 is
uniquely challenging — but we’ve got a plan that turns Thanksgiving
travel into a major opportunity. On Wednesday,
11/26, and Sunday, 11/30, we’re asking volunteers to
step up for a special rest stop signature surge at some of Missouri’s busiest
highway rest areas. With thousands of people on the road for the holiday, this
is one of the most effective ways to reach voters we rarely get face time
with.
|
|
|
Please sign up for
a shift on the spreadsheet so we can blanket the state and
bring signature gathering efforts farther and wider than ever.
Traveling for Thanksgiving
anyway? Perfect. Turn your trip into impact.
And if you’re inspired to
gather signatures at a Missouri rest stop outside of 11/26 or 11/29 —
go for it! Holiday traffic is heavy all week, and you’ll likely
meet tons of voters eager to sign the petition.
Let’s take this momentum
statewide.

Stay Diligent!
Our opponents are
getting louder — and they’re doing everything they can to create confusion for
Missourians. Recently, they even attempted to record misleading “gotcha” videos
of volunteers gathering signatures for
other
petitions.
That’s exactly why your conduct matters more than ever. When
you’re out in the field, please stay respectful, truthful, calm, and
completely non-partisan. Avoid arguments, don’t take the bait,
and never engage with anyone trying to provoke you. The best way to protect
this campaign — and to stand strong against bad-faith tactics — is to continue
representing Respect Missouri Voters with dignity,
professionalism, and integrity. As always, you can look to our Field Training
Guide for helpful advice on how to handle
agitators and other situations you may encounter while gathering.
Your
composure is your shield. Your respectfulness is your power. And your
diligence keeps this movement strong

We’re entering the holiday season, and Thanksgiving events are popping up
everywhere! (There are already 25 in the new Event Tool!) As you take time to rest and enjoy
the holiday, consider taking a few simple actions to help keep our momentum going:
-
Turkey Trot on your
schedule? Cheer on family and friends and pick up a few
signatures while you’re there!
-
Hitting the road for the
holiday? Missouri rest stops will be packed—keep your petition
board handy for quick, easy signatures.
-
Catching up with family and friends? Gather a few signatures
and invite them to support your Giving Tuesday fundraising page.
-
Attending Thanksgiving
events? Whether it’s a big parade or a small backyard football
game, every signature moves us forward!
