Earlier this week, People
Not Politicians submitted more than 305,000 signatures to force a statewide vote
on Missouri's new congressional map. Whether or not you agree with their
petition, we can all take away one thing: If they can do it, we can
too!
If each of us gathers
just 50 signatures in the month of December, we can collect our
next 50,000 signatures, blasting through 50% of our total
goal before the end of the year. That kind of momentum carries us
straight into 2026!
Opportunities
to collect signatures are everywhere so keep your petitions with you wherever
you go. Holiday shopping centers, grocery stores, post offices, and
county clerk offices are great places to gather. If you need ideas or
inspiration, check here regularly for upcoming community
events happening across the state.
Looking
for someone to gather with? Sign up for our buddy program that pairs experienced
gatherers with newcomers, all are welcome to sign up as a buddy.
Thanks to your
dedication, we've already surpassed 118,000 signatures.
Now let's push hard and cross the halfway point before we ring in
2026!

Grow the movement!
Invite a friend to join the Respect Missouri Voters
campaign.
Signature gatherers in
Missouri have been juggling as many as five petitions
at once. Now that one of those campaigns has officially
completed collection and two others have wrapped up their efforts, experienced,
motivated volunteers are suddenly available.
|
|
|
If you know anyone who’s
been active with one or more of those campaigns, now is the perfect time
to encourage them to pivot and put their energy into Respect Missouri Voters.
After all, our campaign aims to amend the Missouri constitution using a
citizen-led initiative to ensure the citizen-led initiative process exists for
all of us to use. Get them over to respectMOvoters.org/join today!
More hands mean more
signatures—and momentum matters right now.

Gatherer Tip: Tis
the Season... for Taxes
Gather Outside a County
Collector's Office
|
With property taxes
due December 31, local collector’s offices are packed with voters and
volunteers are seeing huge success!
“Just got 16
signatures in less than an hour at St. Charles County
Courthouse.”
“32 signatures
in 2 hours! Like shootin’ fish in a barrel!”
“I went to
Jackson County Courthouse and had pretty good luck. More luck than the
tree-lighting event I went to.”
We’ve mapped every collector’s office in Missouri to
make it easy to find one near you. Most offices are open
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (always double-check
hours).
Pro tips for success:
- Hand voters a flyer
on the way in
- Ask for their signature on the
way out
-
Know your rights: print the DMV court
case affirming
petitioning rights at government buildings.
Let’s finish the year
strong. 50 signatures each. 50,000 signatures
together. We’re closer than ever—let’s
make December count. 💪✍️

onboarding to keep the Communications team running smoothly while both the chair
