To fully fund our immediate canvassing campaign against Amendment 4, we need to raise $139,000 over the next 36 days to hit our current phase fundraising goal of $381,000. Your support right now directly equips our field coordinators, prints vital "No on 4" flyers, and keeps our critical software running through the August primary. |

Amendment 4 Gives Special Interests & Out-of-State Groups More Influence Over Our Elections |
Jefferson City politicians want you to believe Amendment 4 would protect elections from the influence of out-of-state and special interest groups. What they don’t want you to know is that Amendment 4 will actually give these groups more power.
Amendment 4 requires citizen-led measures to win a majority in all eight congressional districts. So even if seven districts overwhelmingly support an initiative, it could lose because of one district. This creates an easy path for out-of-state and special interest groups to stop a citizen initiative from succeeding. Rather than spend money on state-wide campaigns, they can focus on convincing just one congressional district to vote no. |

Peter Forbes wants you to laugh at him. And his wife! They've been taking improv classes and hope to take the stage for the first time on July 20 at The Improv Shop in St. Louis.
Peter may be a spontaneous guy, but he also knows that our efforts are meant to protect a century-long tradition of voter initiatives in Missouri. When he heard about Respect MO Voters last September, he said, "Oh, this is for the long term." He's been on the verification center staff and the communications team ever since, and he even took the initiative to present our mission and collect signatures at his church! Thanks, Peter. And break a leg! --- Want to follow Peter’s lead? If you would like our organization to give a presentation to any group or organization you belong to, just email Outreach@respectvoters.org.
