Megaphone next to text: Protect Majority Rule, Vote NO on 4, August 4 2026 |
After some well-deserved time to rest and reset, we are moving at lightning speed! From designing sleek new flyers and business cards to preparing our upcoming field launch, the team is working around the clock to prep for the Vote No on 4 campaign. |
We are ramping up fast because Jefferson City politicians are trying to quietly change the rules this summer. By forcing Amendment 4 onto the low-turnout August ballot, they are banking on voters not paying attention.
If Amendment 4 passes, it will be much more difficult to pass the Respect MO Voters Amendment in November, and will make all initiative petitions in the future nearly impossible to pass. With the August election just 9 weeks away, many Missourians have no idea this massive constitutional change is on the ballot. Voter awareness is our biggest hurdle which is exactly why our work is so critical right now! |

Mobilize Across Missouri! |
It's time to get to work. We need our volunteers across Missouri to organize to defeat Amendment 4. In the next couple weeks, we're hosting field team strategy sessions in multiple regions to share our next steps and how you can get involved. This is a great chance to sign up for new volunteer roles and learn how we're campaigning against Amendment 4 in your neighborhood. |

Gene Davison is a forward-looking guy: he's already drafting a letter to the editor explaining why Amendment 4 is a terrible idea.
It's a little too soon, but when the time is right -- nearer to Aug. 4 -- the editors at The Springfield News-Leader will hear from him. "The editor knows me and he likes my stuff," he says.
Gene is very motivated. He gathered 1,342 signatures to make sure our initiative goes before voters in November, to guard against measures like Amendments 4 that rob us of our rights. He’s not about to let those signatures go to waste. Go get 'em, Gene!
