What an incredible weekend! From the 37+ No Kings Rallies to craft fairs, fall festivals, and community events all across the state, our volunteers once again showed the heart and determination that make this movement unstoppable.  Despite the wind and rain, hundreds of you turned out in force–proving that Missourians are ready to stand up and make their voices heard! But we can’t slow down now. Every signature matters, and every trained gatherer is vital to our success.

We must be doing something right! With petitions already turned in from 105 counties from all corners of the state, we're hard to deny.  A huge thank-you to all who turned out to gather signatures so far. But we need our biggest volunteer turnout ever next weekend during the 37+ No Kings rallies and other events to try to get 30,000 signatures in one weekend. 

You all are doing FANTASTIC but it's only the beginning!  We've already gathered tens of thousands of signatures, so let's use that momentum to double down.  While the weather is on our side, we need every volunteer out gathering signatures—especially in Missouri’s 3rd and 4th congressional districts. Set your goal for 26 signatures this weekend (or 200 - the sky's the limit!) and bring a friend to join the fun! Sign up or add events at respectmovoters.org/sign, turn in your petitions weekly, and report in-kind donations to keep our movement strong and growing. Together, we’re proving that when regular Missourians step up, we can outwork the political establishment and show what real people power looks like!

Signature gathering is in full swing now all over the state. And we have had dozens of notary nights already around the state sending thousands of signatures to our Verification Center.

This past week, we reached over 10,000 supporters! If you haven't volunteered yet and you want to gather signatures, be a notary, or help transport supplies make sure you fill out this form: respectmovoters.org/gather.

Now that we have our policy and supplies, it's time to get out there and get as many signatures as we can!

Our September 10 launch is almost here, and signature-gathering trainings are ramping up across the state. Missouri politicians have made the initiative petition process harder, which means we must be meticulous to ensure every signature counts.

Coordinators, call bankers, and hosts wanted

Our signature gathering launch date is fast approaching! Save the date for the evening of Wednesday, September 10 - details about a launch event near you are coming soon.

We need supplies! We’re looking for corrugated plastic (yard signs), large rubber bands, and binder clips to use as clip boards for signature gathering. We’re also looking for a variety of office supplies like pens, binder clips, banker boxes and more!

Regional director needed: Warrensburg-Sedalia:

We’re looking for a passionate volunteer to lead field efforts in the Warrensburg/Sedalia region. No experience needed—just commitment and heart! We’ll provide the training, tools, and team to support you.

We have only 1 month left to set up our massive volunteer signature-gathering operation. We're still looking for people to help organize signature gatherers in regions throughout the state, serve as notaries when the petitions start coming in, and help make onboarding calls to get folks connected with ways to help.

There’s a lot of energy out in the streets, let’s get out there, take it in, and help others who feel it too direct their energy towards organized action.

With an overwhelming vote of 104 Respect MO Voters volunteers attending the Virtual Policy Summit sessions, we will strengthen and file new versions of our policy to incorporate input from our expanded attorney team and coalition partners who will potentially bring more volunteers and support for our amendment.

We are thrilled to announce that we met and exceeded our June 30 launch goal of $300K. We are now working on building our team and plan to win—please see below for how you can help!
